I am seeking information about the gatherings that took place at Landrus after its closure. I've seen one newspaper article that decribes the Landrus Old Timers Reunion that took place in 1925, with 200 original Landrus inhabitants attending. This same article talks about plans for future reunions.

I have no idea what made me Google Landrus today, but here I am. I'm pretty sure my late grandmother was born in Landrus. Her father worked in the mines and died of lung disease. I have cousins in Arnot. Anyway, interesting blog and I'll come back to read more in-depth sometime. Good luck with the wedding.
